LOST Star Josh Holloway has joined the cast of Stay Cool. One day after the announcement that LOST co-star Matthew Fox was in the process to get a lead role in Billy Smoke, Holloway lands a role as a co-star with Winona Ryder and Hillary Duff.
Of course this news of these actors getting new movie deals has the fan girls going crazy.
Here are the details.
Josh Holloway has joined the cast of the Polish brothers' new comedy, "Stay Cool."
Holloway will co-star with Winona Ryder, Mark Polish, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase, Hilary Duff and Jon Cryer.
The project, which shoots this month in Santa Clarita, Calif., is described as a "knowing-your-age comedy," centering on a successful author (Polish) who is forced to confront an unrequited high school crush, Scarlet Smith (Ryder), when he returns home to deliver a commencement address to graduating seniors.
Holloway will play the former high school jock and ex-boyfriend to Ryder's Scarlet.
Mark and Michael Polish, who wrote the script, are producing with Jonathan Sheldon, Ken Johnson and Janet DuBois via their new Prohibition Pictures banner. Michael Polish is directing.
Holloway is best known for his role as Sawyer on the hit ABC series "Lost." He is repped by WMA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
