LOST Actor Jorge Garcia will be a part of the Beverly Hills Playhous Acting School's acting fair on August 23rd, 2008.

Jorge Garcia ('Lost') is Part of the Beverly Hills Playhouse Acting School and The Actors' Network Actors' Fair Saturday, August 23, 2008

The Beverly Hills Playhouse Acting School and The Actors' Network present an all day actors fair: 'Work More Now - An Aggressive Approach to Your Acting Career' on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Skylight Theater main stage (1816 N. Vermont Ave., LA, CA 90027). The event will run from 10am to 5pm with registration beginning at 9am. The cost for the all day event is $90 ($60 for students in acting classes of the Beverly Hills Playhouse and The Actors' Network members). The event is sponsored by Crunch and plays411.

This outstanding event will focus on the growing needs of today's working actor and specifically on what it takes to have a successful career, now. The event will include commercial and theatrical panels, two seminar presentations from the Beverly Hills Playhouse ('Why Acting Class?') and The Actors' Network ('The business of marketing/promotion') and will conclude with a Celebrity Panel featuring Jorge Garcia (of ABC's 'Lost') and Amir Talai (of CBS' 'The Ex List'). As an added bonus there will be various actor vendors and services represented during the event.

Kevin E. West, president of The Actors Network adds, "We have assembled some of Los Angeles' top casting directors, agents, and managers as well as some of today's successful working actors who will talk about what it takes to Work More Now."

The Commercial industry panel will include: Casting Directors Michael Sanford & Renita Whited along with agents Alicia Ruskin (KSA), Valerie Chiovetti (Abrams Artists), and Matt Taylor (DDO). The Theatrical industry panel will include Casting Directors Paul Ruddy & Kendra Castleberry, Personal Manager Paulo Andrés (RPA Entertainment), and agents Tony Martinez (GVA) & Karl Hofheinz (Synergy Talent). Participants are subject to their availability.

The Beverly Hills Playhouse (BHP) is a top Los Angeles acting school, founded by renowned director and teacher Milton Katselas. Students from his acting classes in Los Angeles have included George Clooney, Michelle Pfeiffer, Tom Selleck, Giovanni Ribisi, Doris Roberts, Jorge Garcia, James Cromwell, Michael Pena', and Patrick Swayze to name a few.
