Matthew Fox Says He is Open to Making a LOST Movie!
Whoa so not that this is a big shock but for a couple of years now LOST writers Damon and Carlton said that there is no movie planned and The End is THE end. At the same time I believe Matthew Fox in many interviews said that he was done with LOST when it was over.
So this is an interesting turn of events.
Here is the quick video thanks to Sluky for the heads up!
Do you guys think there should be a LOST Movie??

Season 6 DVD Bonus Footage and Samples of LOST Encyclopedia via SDCC2010
So at SDCC2010 there was a panel for the LOST Encyclopedia with the authors of the encyclopedia.
They were awesome, answered several questions and confirmed that the epilogue will be a part of the encyclopedia but that because they wanted to make sure everything was included that the release date of the book was being pushed back a few weeks.
During the panel they confirmed that anything in the book is canon and said that details of Walt would be covered if it is a part of the epilogue. They confirmed the Missing Pieces Mobisodes as canon and confirms that the actual first scene on the island for our Losties in the show is not Jack's Eye opening, but when Christian tells Vincent to go get Jack.
The first entry in the book is Aaron and the last is Zodiac and that the book is 400 pages long!
In addition to all the encyclopedia stuff there was a 60 second clip from the bonus footage of the Season 6 DVD set. Nothing too revealing but the clip is below.
They also gave us a glimpse of some of the pages and I posted some pictures below.
I apologize for the quality and I am sure some fans that had better cameras than my cellphone have some better images.
Enjoy!

New Man In Charge - Detailed Synopsis
Synopsis from DarkUFO
The first scene is a man who has his back to camera walking towards a doorway with Dharma symbols on it. It's Ben and as that picture hinted a week or so ago Ben is indeed shutting down the Dharma initiative for good. This scene is only like a minute long and Ben just tells the dudes in the Dharma jumpsuits that their assignments are done and that travel has been arranged for them back to their respective homes. The skinny dude asks Ben why this is happening and Ben does the cheesy turn around quick look into the camera and says "There's a new man in charge" and he walks out of the station as the dudes gesture their disappointment. First scene is kind of cheesy but it gets much better.
Next up we see this fabled new man in charge who is of course Hurley. Hurley still looks the same but he talks differently and there's no "dude" mentioned anywhere in the vignette.
Hurley is on the beach and is just starring off into the ocean. There is some noise coming from the bushes behind Hurley and Hurley has a weird cautious look in his eye but it's just the dog who lays down next to Hurley. Hurley has a nice little scene here with the dog where he outlines his regrets and his view of the future for the island. There is a lot of good stuff here and I will leave that part a mystery. Hurley says there is supposed to be some sort of balance to the island and that balance is gone. Hurley gets up and brushes the sand off of himself and tells the dog he has some good news for him, WALT IS COMING TO THE ISLAND!
Walt is doing some homework and listening to music in his room. I guess this is some sort of prep school or some sort of academy because Walt has a room at the school and is wearing a nice little uniform. After a moment someone knocks on the door and it's Ben. Walt looks like he's thirty years old but he still remembers Ben's face like he just saw him yesterday. Walt says he remembers what "they" did to him. Ben apologizes and he gets Walt to calm down. Ben explains Hurley's role on the island and offers him passage to the island. Walt says that if he wanted to go to the island he could go there any time he wanted to. Ben is intrigued but his evil intrigue dies off and he stays on mission. Walt then asks why he would ever go back and Ben manipulates him and tells him that his father is on the island. Walt wonders why Ben is visiting him because if Ben could leave the island then so could Michael. Ben says that Michael needs Walt's help and this works and WALT JUST FUCKING VANISHES as Ben smiles because he can still manipulate people like the old days.
Back on the island Hurley can still see dead people. I will not spoil the details of this scene as it both directly and indirectly involves John Locke and I can't write up a spoiler about Mr. Locke. I will give a little hint that Hurley offers an explanation of Locke's connection to the island and it fucking rocks and will be very satisfying but also very sad in regards to how things actually played out and how they should have played out. Are you... um.... stuck here? What if this island is the one that is stuck with me? Awesome scene. Very heady.
Final scene involves Walt and Hurley and offers a suggestion regarding the future of the island, things are left very much out in the open and the viewer must make up their own mind. Very good stuff. Fans will love it and it is very satisfying. The Vincent and Walt reunion will bring tears to everyone's eyes and it was done amazingly well. Great score A+++++++

ODI LOSTcast 72 - Series Finale Recap Part 1
WOW. I do not believe it! Yup an ODI LOST Podcast! It feels like it has been ages and well frankly when it was the recap of the finale of the best show of our lifetime and we made you wait weeks and weeks to get part 1, well I it has been ages and I don't blame all of you for wondering WTF happened?
Unfortunately there is not one simple answer to that question. I initially decided to take some time to get some personal stuff done but knew I had time because of the giveaway and well most of you that have seen the updates know there was some cheating going on that led to some changes in how the winner was picked. It was still someone from the emails and some one picked at random.
Thanks to all of you that submitted entries we really appreciate it and of course thanks for waiting so patiently!! The lucky winner of the LOST Complete Collection DVD set and LOST encyclopedia is:
Patrick Curry who sent in the following email after winning:
When I fell for Lost I fell hard. I rapidly consumed all things that had to do with the show which, combined with my burgeoning habit of listening to podcasts during my commute, led me to The Odi. The Odi lead me to DarkUfo and so many great recaps. But really it was The Odi and the LOSTcast that I found to be the perfect supplement to the raw data of Lostapedia and it quickly became part of my daily surfing routine. Damon and Carlton have often said that the fans are just as much a part of the show as the writers and to me, The Odi is proof of this. All the content here, the information behind the scenes, in front of the scenes, cast and crew interviews and the rich content of the podcast have made me feel like part of the mythology. Something that cannot be duplicated no matter how many re-watches. I am forever grateful for this. And for things like this amazing contest! A big, fat Thank You to The Odi for all this. Through rain, snow and a house fire The Odi was always there. However, I have, admittedly, been myopic with the site, head in the Lost sand, but my daily visits continue and I'm discovering new life after Lost. Lots to be excited about. None of it will be Lost but that's okay, I recently learned how to let go.

Congratulations to Patrick and thanks to DK Publishing for sponsoring the prize!
I am really glad that after all the confusion a loyal fan won! Well there were a few other minor reasons for the additional delays but I am glad it is finally out for you all to hear!
In part 1 we cover all of the afterlife/purgatory/ALT world scenes and always throw in thoughts about other moments from LOST. Please let us know if you agree or disagree and your thoughts in the comments section below.
I will be at Comic Con this weekend so if anyone of you will be there and would like to meet up please let me know. It will be awesome to hang with some Losties again!
Now word on the street is there might be some stuff about the LOST DVD set at Comic Con so we will update you with anything we see.
As far as the plan for part 2 we will record next week sometime and hope fully have it out a week or so after. So look for a second part in a couple of weeks.
So I hope you all enjoy!

Damon and Carlton's Reactions to the 13 Emmy Nominations
Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, exec producers, "Lost"
Lindelof: "It sounds so cliche that it's great to be nominated but that's what we're basking in now. We don't take this for granted. And the fact that the love was spread to Michael Giacchino, Jack Bender, the sound mixers and art direction is great. It'll be cool to put on the monkey suits again and get together one last time."
Cuse: "My strategy is to sleep through these type of things. I checked my phone and saw there were a lot of emails. Bad news avoids you like the plague. … For Matthew (Fox) , he's labored almost unfairly on a show that's more ensemble-oriented than the guys he's competing aginst. Fortunately, the finale was Matthew-centric and he was finally given a chance to be front and center in such a way that allows voters to take notice. He was so critical to our show."
