Hey Losties,
So we are about two weeks into the mini-hiatus in between Season 4 of LOST. If you do not know yet, episode 9 is scheduled to air April 24th at 10PM and we will get 4 more episodes for a total of 13 episodes in Season 4.

Now many of you out there have loved the first 8 episodes (myself included), while many are still complaining about a lack of answers. Also, one of the best episodes of the whole series (The Constant - 4x05) was apart of this first part of Season 4 and yet some hated it.

Well Doc Jensen from EW has posted his Report Card for these first 8 episodes of Season 4 and ONLY the much hated Juliet centric episode The Other Woman received lower than a B. So I would say that he feels this season is doing pretty well.

Grading the first eight episodes of Lost's fourth season.

4.01 ''The Beginning of the End''
Flash-forward Hurley! Ghost Charlie! Oceanic 6! Christian rocking in Jacob's hizzy!
Grade: A

4.02 ''Confirmed Dead''
The best introduction of new characters ever. Miles Straume's ghostbusting scene, the revelation of a Hydra polar bear in Tunisia, and the discovery of Oceanic 815 wreckage at the bottom of the ocean rank among Lost's greatest WTF?! Moments.
Grade: A

4.03 ''The Economist''
Sayid is born again — Jason Bourne'd, that is — as an off-Island assassin for Ben in the flash-forward future. Not since Martha Stewart got out of jail has there been more watercooler discussion about a bracelet.
Grade: A-

4.04 ''Eggtown''
The flash-forward Kate stuff was nifty and the Aaron reveal was buzzworthy. The Island stuff laid an egg for me, but the Miles/Ben/Locke triangle, culminating with the grenade-in-the-mouth bit, was explosive.
Grade: B

4.05 ''The Constant''
Lost lets its geek flag fly — and opens its heart — with Desmond's narratively trippy, deeply romantic time-travel episode. Best Lost episode ever? Debate.
Grade: A+

4.06 ''The Other Woman''
Juliet's third flashback episode. The only true dud of the season, although coming after ''The Constant'' did it no favors.
Grade: C-

4.07 ''Ji Yeon''
The Jin/Sun flashback/flash-forward was loved by some, resented by others for its twisty-or-gimmicky trickery. It worked for me.
Grade: B+

4.08 ''Meet Kevin Johnson''
I'm giving this one a solid, sturdy B. Since I didn't recap, I owe you a more detailed explanation....

Hey Losties,
I know we are only 8 episode into season 4 of LOST and we still have 5 more to go starting April 24th, but I thought we should take this opportunity to really see how fans acrross the world felt about these first set of episodes in season 4.

Now I know most of us have the Desmond Centric "flash" episode The Constant some where on our Best of All-Time lists and it was most likely the best episode so far. However, this season has been filled with some great moments all around, so besides The Constant which episode was the best?

Here is a little review of each episode followed by the poll:

The Beginning of the End (Hurley FF) - Which showed us Hurley talking with a "Dead but Here" Charlie and gave us the mystery of who were the "Oceanic 6"??

Confirmed Dead (Freighter People Multi-Centric FB) - This episode provided us with a little back story for each of the "boaties" while learning that they were sent by the mysterious Abbadon.

The Economist (Sayid FF) - This one was one of my favorite episodes this season and it gave us a whole new look at Sayid as a Hitman for Ben post-island!! Plus, we get our first confirmation that time off and on island do not match up.

Eggtown (Kate FF) - Not too many fans cared for Kate's trial. However, the big reveal that she had a son and that it was Claire's baby, Aaron, is one of the biggest shocks of the season.

The Other Woman (Juliet FB) - One of the most hated episodes in a long time had some interesting reveals. The Juliet episode gave us more of an insight on Ben and his obsession with Juliet than Juliet's past, but we ALSO learn Ben sent Goodwin to get killed, that Widmore is behind the freighter and that the Tempest hatch powers the island.

Ji Yeon (Sun/Jin FF/FB) - The actual off-island FF/FB revealed very little info until the ending shocker that there is a tombstone for Jin, opening a huge debate among fans, whether Jin was alive or not and confirming that Aaron was indeed a member of the Oceanic 6. Also,how can we forget the NOT so shocking return of Michael as Kevin Johnson.

Meet Kevin Johnson (Michael FB) - This was a unique episode with practically the whole episode taking place off-island and during Michael's back story. We learned that Ben sent Tom to recruit Michael and Tom finds Michael off-island in NYC trying to kill himself out of guilt!? In a crazy twist the episode and first part of the season ends with BOTH Karl and Danielle getting shot!!

This is a look at the scene when all the Losties meet up at the Fuselage of Flight 815. This could actually be a clip that makes the S4 DVD sets.

As many of you already know, that during Hurley's (Jorge Garcia) FF in Season 4 Episode 1 of LOST (The Beginning of the End), when he is in the interrogation room he has a vision of Charlie swimming up to the window and then pressing his hand against the glass to reveal a message. For most including myself on initial viewing it was hard to see, but after rewinding the scene it was clear Charlie's hand no longer read "Not Penny's Boat" and actually had a the words "They Need You".

Later in the episode and FF when Hurley was back at Santa Rosa, Charlie appears once again with a message and that message again is "They Need You".

So the question is WHO needs Hurley...!? Well the current assumption is that there are still survivors on the island and they need Hurley and need him to most likely be saved. Of course this is LOST and any time we assume something or think we know what we are talking about, it ends up being some thing completely different.

So what do you all think...!? Was the island sending a message to Hurley via Charlie, is it Charlie's spirit or is it just Hurley having a vision..!? Feel free to leave your comments and theories below.

After the events of the LOST Season 4 premiere, we finally see a complete split of the Losties wih Team Locke (Terry O' Quinn) and Team Jack (Matthew Fox). Now weather you like a specific actor or character or not, each of the Losties had to make a decision based on their priorities and morals.

Well I hope everyone had a great week and I know most of you loved last week's Season 4 Premiere of LOST...!!

What a great episode. I know many of us have been discussing the episode and theorizing away and it was such a good episode that the new podcast is mainly filled with a recap of the premiere covering some of the several key points of Episode 4x01 The Beginning of the End.

The Hurley Flashforward had so many key moments that we had to make the podcast much longer than we expected, but there is still tons of great stuff to listen to and it is a great way to catch up on any thing you might of missed.

Each clip is about 10 minutes long so can listen to them in little spurts. We discuss the whole episode from beginning to end the on-island happenings and the FF so I hope you all enjoy it.

Plus, we also give you all a little preview of the upcoming episode.

NOTE: For all of you spoilers haters, the preview contains several little spoilers and that is in Clip 7.

Here is the recap video for the LOST Season 4 Premiere, The Beginning End of the End.

This episode was a Hurley Centric Flashforward and featured an on-island encounter of Hurley with Jacob and off-island vision of Charlie. Also, with the fallout from the events of the Season 3 Finale two teams were formed: Team Locke v. Team Jack.

So there were several questions on our minds after the premiere last night, but for ABC the biggest question was how will the ratings be!?

Well as expected LOST came back with a vengeance and won it's time slot easily...!!

With over 16 Million fans tuning in to watch the Season 4 Premiere, the DVR returns will boost this number and enhance the ratings even further.

This was the highest rated LOST since November of 2006, yes misleading because of the hiatus, but that is basically early in Season 3. Another benchmark to give you an idea of how well last night's episode performed is the comparison of the S3 Finale number of approximately ONLY 14 Million. Don't forget many felt that was the best episode of LOST ever...!!

LOST had competition, but not as stiff because of the strike several repeats aired including CSI.

Well either way it is a big win for ABC and LOST, so the key will now be can it sustain it's audience or even build on the success...!?

Well as you all know some pretty weird things happened in the premiere but most importantly Hurley's visit to Jacob's Shack.

Well what did good ole' Hugo see...!? Whose eye spooked Hurley into visions of seeing the shack again...!? Is this the work of the island and smokey..!? Also the whispers returned in this scene as well.

Look carefully and you will see what looks like a hooded person. Could this be Charlie and just ALL a Hurley vision...!?

Much talk has been made about the reflection of the city skyline in the LOST Season 4 Promos and also about the hidden 6s. Well we learned about the 6 in tonight's episode The Beginning of the End.

Ever since I saw the city skyline LA naturally popped in mind because that is where I live. So I finally decided to make a screencap to see if that is the skyline the writers were implying?

I found a LA Skyline that fits as close as possible and then made an overlay in the smaller image on the right and it looks pretty close.
