Real Odds for What Will Happen on LOST??
Yup it is true! Seems like an online betting site has put up some odds on what will happen in LOST and you can actually bet on the odds.
The main article talks about whether the Man in Black will escape the island and has pretty good odds at 4/7. So for every $7 you bet you can win $4. Not that good of a return if you ask me. However there are a few other fun bets like "Will Richard Kill the MiB?" and "Who Will Kate End Up With?"
So both mythology fans and shippers can join in on the fun.

The MIB has killed off several characters throughout the years. The Man in Black's most notorious ability is that of manifesting himself as a giant dark cloud, often described as looking like smoke. The Monster appears immune to conventional weaponry, but was repelled on one occasion by dynamite. The Man In Black has several weaknesses, ranging from water and ash circles to Banyan trees.
The MIB became "trapped" on the Island at some point. Since that time, he constantly tried to escape and "go home". The Man in Black believes keeping him on the Island is pointless because darkness is common to all humanity. The island constantly seems to prove The Monster wrong by presenting people that know the difference between right and wrong.

Will Richard kill the MIB?
Yes 5/9

ODI LOSTcast 57 - Episode 6x08 Recon Recap
Hey All,With most of you on the east coast or across the world now getting ready for tonight's episode 6x09, I am sure that the recap of last week's episode is not on the top of your list of things to listen to.
However, this week as always Karen, Danny and myself analyze the off and on island fun. We chat about some of things we did not like and how some stuff did not seem to fit, but there were several important scenes we chatted about including Sawyer smashing the mirror, Little House on the Prairie, Sawyer setting up a con of Widmore and MiB and of course MiB talking to Kate about having a crazy mom and much more!
Plus I make an announcement of who our special guests will be this week!

Episode 6x08 Recon - ODI LOSTometer Episode Grade Chart
Hey All,
Below is this week's ODI LOSTometer Episode Grading chart. As expected from the mixed reaction from fans resulting in some lowered ratings, the blogger/media world felt the same way.
Some thought it was awesome and gave the episode an A+, while others just did like it and gave it a C+. The wide range resulted in a average grade of a B- putting it at the level of What Kate Does. I am sure many of you would disagree with the lower grade, but then again a B- is still a good grade. Also there is a little range for each grade level and WKD is at the bottom of that range close to a C+ and Recon was a solid B- so for those that want to rank and keep score, Recon did score higher that WKD but both end up with the same grade.
For me, this week's Sawyer flash sideways seemed a little too cop procedural and soap opera but it was interesting to see James still looking for Cooper but this time around as a cop. The on-island stuff was much more interesting to me especially the con Sawyer is trying to pull on Widmore and MiB, but I am still not down with Zombie Sayid and Crazy Claire, but was cool to see Smokey slap her silly.
BTW, Karen mentioned she ALMOST gave this episode an A, but decided to keep the streak alive and give it an A+.

Happy LOST Day All!Last week's episode 6x04 The Substitute the Locke Centric episode provided us with a big reveal of the Candidate Cave and many other moments with both MiB as Locke and the Alt-Timeline Locke.
We discussed the action at the Candidate Cave with Mib and Sawyer quite a bit but also provide you with our thoughts with who we think the mysterious blond boy is, the happier Alt-Locke who has accepted his potential destiny of being in a wheelchair and much more!

UPDATE: Here is what LOSTpedia has listed for names:
Update: Besides the main 6 Candidates who else do you see? Yes some are very familiar.
Some of the other names that have been found so far are: Littleton, Pace, O' Toole, Goodspeed, Domingo, Burke, Troup, Lewis, Faraday, Cunningham, Mattingley, Sullivan, Grant, Jones

Finally we see the connection of the number to our Losties, but why does Kate not have a number? Any thoughts or theories? Also my guess is that Jin is the "Kwon" that is referenced but then why all the men?
So like Frank our Losties are candidates to protect the island.
