ESPN Mentions LOST Finale Describing Blown Call in Perfect Game
Last night, an ESPN Announcer mentions LOST Series finale when describing the baseball blown perfect game call.
Detroit Tigers Pitcher Armando Gallaraga had a perfect game with one out to go when the umpire blew the call, calling the runner safe when he was clearly out. The confusing call according to ESPN is supposedly more "confounding" than the LOST Series finale.
There have been all sorts of reference to LOST in pop culture but rarely in sports, so thought this was a cool mention. Here you go:

LOST Season 1 Deleted Scene Appears in Fringe ALT World
So for those of you that have been watching Fringe know that it is all about the ALT world and traveling between the two worlds.
So in last night's Fringe Episode, there was a moment that the two worlds crossed causing a electronic/static disturbance in the TV Broadcasting.
So the Fringe team is watching the broadcast as a part of their investigation and you see the screen flicker and flashes of the ALT world broadcast appear. Of course fans have screencapped those moments and well guess what? We get a quick look at the LOST deleted scene from Season 1 with Claire and the Pilot Seth at the airport before flight 815.
Not sure what it means, but just a nice nod to LOST and apparently that Flight 815 and Oceanic Airlines exists in the Fringe ALT World.
Thanks to our good friends at Fringe Television for the screencaps and you can see the actual LOST deleted scene below:

Nintendo Wii Sports Press Release References LOST
Thanks to Darth Xenu for the heads up
You know, pop-culture referencing television show Lost isn't the only form of entertainment that includes island fun.
With the final season of the show kicking off next week, Nintendo wants to remind you about that OTHER island.
With more than 4.2 million copies sold, Nintendo seems to make a lot of references to LOST's tropical... paradise while talking about the mysterious island of Wii Sports Resort which they call a "lush, tropical setting populated by an array of characters who have taken the initiative to have some fun."
* Everyone gets along on Wuhu Island. Petty arguments and elaborate scheming are left behind in favor of fun activities, precision controls and cooperative play.
* Wuhu Island offers a dozen fun resort-themed activities. Four of them are archery, golf, wakeboarding and basketball. The other eight are table tennis, Frisbee®, Swordplay, cycling, canoeing, Power Cruising, Air Sports and bowling.
* Wuhu Island is always there when you need it. Time after time, whenever you go looking for it, it's always right where you left it. Better yet, you can leave and return to the island whenever you want.
* Wuhu Island is a smoke-free zone.
* If your plane crashes while you're playing Air Sports, you always restart from where you left off, even if you crash 15-16 times.
* New technologies, such as the included Wii MotionPlus? accessory, might make you feel like you're living in the future.
* The biggest twists and turns on Wuhu Island are the ones you make yourself, with the help of the Wii Remote? controller, which is available in both black and white.
* Night or day, the basketball courts are always open. See how many 2s and 3s you can sink.
OK, now figure out all of the Lost references... and GO!

Oceanic Airlines Flight Found on Kayak!?
Here is a cool little LOST reference to Oceanic Airlines found on the travel website Kayak.com
Thanks to Jennifer and The_Other_Other for the heads up.
If you search the popular travel bargin site Kayak.com for a one-way non-stop ticket from Sydney to LAX on September 22nd, 2010 and you’ll get an Oceanic Airlines flight as a result.
For those of you who don’t follow the television show Lost, Oceanic Airlines is the fictional airline which crashed Oceanic Flight 815 on a mysterious island. The flight was traveling from Sydney to Los Angeles, which under mysterious circumstances, on September 22, 2004, the airliner, carrying 324 passengers, deviated from its original course and disappeared over the Pacific Ocean.
Of course, the whole thing is just a fun easter egg for Lost fans. When you try to purchase the flight, it redirects you to the Lostpedia article on Oceanic Flight 815.

LOST Numbers Being Used by WheresMyCellphone.com
Thanks to Runtz for the heads up about this.
Found this site where you enter you cell phone number if you need to find it. I tried it just to see. The incoming call was from 481-516-2342.
I could not believe this was true so I tried it out and it worked! I was able to grab a screencap of my iPhone for you all to see and yes that is my wallpaper of the Swan Logo pumpkin I carved this Halloween.
Very cool!

Lost on The Colbert Report
Thanks to Marco for the following.
I’ve found a possible media mention in yesterday’s Colbert Report. After the first commercial break there was a sequence where they showed a job application letter. The name on it was “Jim LeFleur” (not LaFleur) from Portland. It’s nothing big, but I thought I’ll give you a heads up. I made a quick screenshot of the application letter mentioned and I now noticed some of the Lost numbers under the name.

Oceanic Airlines to Appear in Desperate Housewives
Well if you are a regular reader of the blog you will know I love seeing when there are references or EEs of LOST in other shows, video games, and other media. LOST references are hidden all over the place and ABC has been putting LOST EEs in several of it's shows as a form of cross promotion.
This time around it will be on Desperate Housewives.
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a ratings stunt!
Marc Cherry has confirmed that a plane is going to come crashing down on Desperate Housewives' Wisteria Lane this season, for the show's midseason cliffhanger.
And now ABC sources are spilling this cool little nugget of info: The plane might end up being none other than one from Lost's Oceanic Airlines.
So wait a minute, does that mean that if/when Lost resets this season with an alternate reality (if that hydrogen bomb did actually go off), Jack, Kate, Sawyer and the gang could crash on Wisteria Lane instead of the island?
Sorry, no such luck, Susan Mayer. Jack Shepard will not be dipping his ladle in your special sauce...
The plane's Oceanic branding would just be a fun little Easter egg for Lost fans to find. And while the crossover has yet to be finalized, I'm told the higher-ups at ABC are keen on the idea.

Below is a screencap of the :12 sec mark of the video where you can see what appears to be a Dharma Logo and more specifically the Hydra Logo.
Also, the caption has the word "Shambala", which is the song that plays in the Dharma van when Hurley starts it up.

ALT Cindy Promo Discovered!?
Hey All,
First of all Happy Birthday LOST!! Five years ago today, the LOST Pilot aired and many of our lives were changed forever. Do you ever wonder what would happen or where you might be today if you did not watch LOST!?
Obviously you would not be reading this post but I wonder sometimes what if I did not have this site, what would I be doing in my spare time!?
Well in honor of that I have a video for you all. By now most of you have seen the strange commercial promos released at Comic Con hinting at maybe what to expect in Season 6, but how about this? An ALT version of Cindy working for Bissell Vacuum Cleaners!?
Confused yet? Well this is not from LOST, but a real commercial that Oceanic Air Flight Attendant Cindy (aka actress Kimberly Joseph) filmed for the Bissell Vacuum company.
I would like to note that she is taking care of kids!
Thanks to 803er for the heads up

CBS Makes Dharma Video to Promote Survivor
This is too funny!! I know some LOST fans might get pissed at such a blatant copy and an attempt at a Dharma video, but at the end of the day the ultimate respect.

Religious Brochure Referencing LOST!?
Hey All,
Several of my friends love LOST but are not fans of spoilers, so imagine my surprise when one of my best friends told me he had something I could possibly post on my site.
Little did I know it was a religious brochure that uses LOST throughout the brochure!? No he did not get it at church, but found it on the winshield of his car!
Well check it out!!
NOTE: I am in no way trying push these beliefs, but thought it was an interesting way to promote religion through the show.
