I know we are only hours away from the next episode of LOST, but last week's episode had several action packed emotional and intense scenes! The flash sideways moments were also very important and we discuss each one to provide you our thoughts.

The MiB almost pulled off the long con killing all of the candidates, but Sayid's sacrifice helped a few of them survive and is there still any possibility or reason why he is killing our Losties and it is ok?

Episode 6x14 The Candidate - LOSTometer Episode Grade Chart

Hey All,

Happy LOST Day!!

So last week's episode 6x14 The Candidate was very emotional and many fans reacted in different ways. Some were quite upset with the writers while most loved the episode. The episode was packed with great action on island and the flash sideways moments off island were filled with some interesting moments.

Many of the news and blog sites said they enjoyed it and the final average grade for the episode was an "A-". This was the first time this season that a grade was on the border and could easily have been an "A" if couple of more grades were higher.

So what did you all think??

Quote of the Week via Lyly: I liked the episode but it shocked me a lot. Maybe it's because I was shocked and why I can't give it an A+ because it would be lying to myself to say I adored it which I don't really since our Losties are dead. I can't enjoy it but it was a great episode, do you understand my dilemma?

Here is recap from LOST recapper Sean Furfaro's Recap of Tonight's Episode 6x14 The Candidate.

Hope you all enjoy it!

Breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out. No, I'm not singing Mat Kearney, and no, I'm not just making a predictable joke considering that the last third of this episode essentially took place underwater...I'm just catching my own breath. As I sit down to write this recap not even 10 minutes from the closing credits of "The Candidate", I'm still trying to make sense of it. I'll do my best...

I used a hockey analogy in describing the pace of last week's episode. Well, if that was the end of a hockey game, then this was a drag race. Again, no "Previously on Lost" since we're going to need every minute in this hour, and we open with a shot of John Locke in the hospital in the FS World. Locke is greeted by Jack, and what ensues is an incredibly well-written scene, where every single word seemingly meant something in both realities. From Jack explaining to Locke that he may be a "candidate", to him declaring that he thinks he can "fix him", to Helen exclaiming "thank you for saving him."
