LOST Fans: Will You Watch FlashForward Tonight!?
Easily one of the most anticipated and hyped shows in awhile airs tonight. I have seen countless clips and the sneak peek from Comic Con. The panel was exciting and the concept is great.
As a LOST fan, it is a very intriguing show with several references and nods to LOST and my good friend SNLForever has even compiled a small list of just a few of the references. Yes I know there are even more!
Of course LOST Actors Dominic Monaghan and Sonya Walger are a part of the ensemble cast, but how about these:
- There is a character named Charlie.
- One of the main characters is a doctor.
- Numbers are a key role in the show.
- One of the characters goes to AA meetings. (Christian)
- Takes place in LA.
- The first shot of the pilot is relative to the shot we saw of Jack in the pilot of LOST. ("waking up" hearing people screaming)
- Oranges (Locke and his Orange peel)
- THERE IS A OCEANIC AIRLINES BILLBOARD IN THE SHOW!!!
Not to mention the recently announced title to Episode 1x04 as "Black Swan".
So whether you are a LOST fan or not will you be watching when the world will FlashForward for 2:17 tonight!?!?

ALT Cindy Promo Discovered!?
Hey All,
First of all Happy Birthday LOST!! Five years ago today, the LOST Pilot aired and many of our lives were changed forever. Do you ever wonder what would happen or where you might be today if you did not watch LOST!?
Obviously you would not be reading this post but I wonder sometimes what if I did not have this site, what would I be doing in my spare time!?
Well in honor of that I have a video for you all. By now most of you have seen the strange commercial promos released at Comic Con hinting at maybe what to expect in Season 6, but how about this? An ALT version of Cindy working for Bissell Vacuum Cleaners!?
Confused yet? Well this is not from LOST, but a real commercial that Oceanic Air Flight Attendant Cindy (aka actress Kimberly Joseph) filmed for the Bissell Vacuum company.
I would like to note that she is taking care of kids!
Thanks to 803er for the heads up

LOST Director Jack Bender Discusses Season 6
Hey All,
There is a great new article about the Production of LOST in Hawaii and about how it will effect the islands once production ends and how great it was to have LOST there.
LOST Director Jack Bender was interviewed and talked a bit about Season 6. Nothing major new but here is his portion of the article:
Filming began Aug. 24, and the final season — 18 hours of programming — will run from January to May.
"I think it will be a thrilling, satisfying season that is not going to be without controversy," he said. "Life is messy. Our ending, although there will be answers, every bow may not be tied up. But there will be enough answers to the bigger questions."
Bringing the series to a finale is a bittersweet assignment for the cast and crew, said Bender, who joined "Lost" after the pilot was finished.
"The local crew has become family," he said. "I really adore these guys, and I am hopeful that I will be back with a show in the future. I hope there will be another show that comes in that lasts as long and is a wonderful experience."
The show — and working in Hawai'i — changed those who were involved, especially Bender, who said living in the Islands agrees with him.
"None of us will be the same after 'Lost,' " said Bender, who lives in L.A., where his wife is a rabbi, but spends much of the year working in Hawai'i. "I've learned so many things being executive producer. I am a better person than I was when I started."

ORIGINAL POST:
We’ve packed the new ODI site with the capability to perform and cater for greater needs of the reader. See how below.
Neater Design
We’ve streamlined it all, it’s out with the clutter in with the clean, most of what you need appears in a toolbar at the bottom of your page which follows you around as you scroll or switch page.
The bar offers translation, recent posts, a search box, twitter posts, RSS and any notifications we feel you need to know. If you get bored or find it obtrusive, just press the arrows and it collapses out of the way.
Easier Sharing
Sharing has been made possible with several new features. The top left of this post has a tweet button, this means you can tweet the article from where you are and spread the spoilers on the web without moving a muscle; our footer now has an AddThis feature with 54 options, it’s a simple rollover and then choose your site!
Our sidebar is also new and improved, at the top you’ll see an option to visit the profiles of our twitter, Facebook, YouTube and RSS feeds, the links are available elsewhere but the sidebar is our personal “hub” where we’ll keep everything you want and need.
All the old features remain too, so don’t worry about the bookmark button or spoiler links as they’re here to stay.
Submit a Scoop
As an upgrade from email, we’ve got a button and form you can press to contact the ODI if you find a great spoiler, preview or other that you think we need to know.
If you use Spoiler Tv, it works exactly the same; just click the button “Submit a Scoop” at the top of every page and fill in the form…we just ask that if you have a Heroes spoiler, you submit it on the Heroes page and if your spoiler concerns Lost you submit it on the Lost page and so on.
New Commenting
The new site has a new commenting software which is easy to use, and has the ability to log on to profile and private message. You can also flag comments if you think there is something wrong with them and add images. Click the Follow button to receive information when a blogger replies to your post.
Please remember the site is in beta testing, and there may well be a few glitches- just message us if you have a problem. The Podcast and Funzone sections are also in construction, but will be coming soon.
Finally, enjoy the new site and explore for yourself! Tell us what you think below

JJ Abrams Would like to Direct an Episode
Not only does JJ want to direct an episode of LOST again, but he said that Damon Lindelof will help write Star Trek 2!
Could you come back to direct an episode of Lost?
Abrams: I'd love to direct another episode. It would be fun. You have to ask Damon, same thing.
Is there room in your schedule to do another show when you're already stretched so thin with movies?
Abrams: Well, sadly, I'm working on a couple things right now that will test your theory, but the fact is that I'm working with some people like Jeff Pinkner and Joel Wyman, who are running Fringe, though it's not quite the same thing as when I did Lost with Damon Lindelof. He really has run that show since the first year.
My involvement with Fringe, though, much more so than Lost, is, generally speaking, becoming less and less critical, because Jeff and Joel are there every day, and they're really running. So when I wrote the first episode and am involved in this season, they're doing an amazing job, which helps free up time to work on other things. I am incredibly ADD in that way.
So Orci and Kurtzman have physically started writing?
Abrams: No, but we've started talking story, and Damon's writing it with them.

However, some of the old cast members from previous seasons are shown in the clip.

Season 6 Scheduled to Run with No Interruptions!!
Hey All,
Here there is some new exciting news from Disney's D23 Expo! Season 6 will run with "no interruptions". Yes I know they have promised this before, but it is still good to get another confirmation.
Also, apparently the fans in attendance got a chance to view a new teaser promo. If anyone was there and has a copy of can provide us with a description of what was shown, please let us know via using the submission form or email and we can share it with the rest of the fans.
NOTE: Information from the teaser could be considered as spoilers so PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY DETAILS IN THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE PROMO.
Thanks to b3rt4 for the heads up and here are the details from ABC and SL-LOST:
During the network’s jam-packed presentation, “The ABCs of Disney,” on day one of the D23 Expo, fans got an exclusive sneak peek at the new lineup. And, judging by their response, they were not disappointed! Just before concluding the session, Tom Bergeron and Stephen McPherson showed a teaser for the final season of Lost scheduled to air on ABC in early 2010 with no interruptions from week to week. There are promises of drama, intrigue and of course, answers to the show’s biggest questions of all — where, why, how…inquiring minds want to know!

CBS Makes Dharma Video to Promote Survivor
This is too funny!! I know some LOST fans might get pissed at such a blatant copy and an attempt at a Dharma video, but at the end of the day the ultimate respect.

Holloway Confirms the Show Will Finally Make Sense
With the TV Season starting in about a week or two, many media outlets are putting out their Fall TV Previews, but Popular Mechanics had a Sci-FI Fall TV Preview that included LOST. Even with LOST starting in January, the magazine was still excited enough to make a mention of it in it's preview.
They mention the Mr. Clucks Hurley ad from Comic con and the possibility of a reset or that history has been changed. However, there was also a little tidbit from Josh Holloway about the show finally making sense and that it will be "magical".
I am sure my podcast partner and good friend Karen will love the "magical" part!!
Here you go:
Josh Holloway, who plays Sawyer, had this to say about the final season: "The material will finally make sense … maybe," he told Popular Mechanics. "I'll be sad to see it end, but it's gonna be magical."

Religious Brochure Referencing LOST!?
Hey All,
Several of my friends love LOST but are not fans of spoilers, so imagine my surprise when one of my best friends told me he had something I could possibly post on my site.
Little did I know it was a religious brochure that uses LOST throughout the brochure!? No he did not get it at church, but found it on the winshield of his car!
Well check it out!!
NOTE: I am in no way trying push these beliefs, but thought it was an interesting way to promote religion through the show.

LOST V Predators!!
Hey All,
Apparently the new Predators movie (yes another sequel/reboot) will soon be filming in Hawaii and the MTV Movies blog put together a funny list with odds of some of the LOST Characters and how they might fare if they met face to face with a Predator.
Here is the list...enjoy!!
Jack Shephard:
The former alcoholic and pill-popping doctor is the de facto leader of the Oceanic 815 survivors, and despite his necessity-driven experience with firearms, what kind of threat would Jack really pose against a Predator? He's no match physically, but his ability to perform surgery in a pinch might render him useful enough to leave alive until the rest of the castaways are picked off.
Survival Odds: 12:1. If Jack can tap into some of that Arnold Schwarzenegger man-thrives-in-nature instinct, he might stand a chance.
Benjamin Linus:
As the leader of the Island's mysterious Others, Ben has a proven talent for deception. When it comes to facing down the barrel of a shoulder-mounted laser cannon though, that smart mouth will do him no favors. The bug-eyed twerp's best chance against the Predators is to trick everybody else into drawing fire while looking for a way to stay alive -- just as he's done all of his life.
Survival Odds: 200:1. Ben's only real weapon here is his manipulative ways, and when he runs out of bodies to trick into harm's way, it's game over for Captain Bunny Killer.
Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes:
If there's one definitive fact about the laidback, oversized millionaire, it's that he's supremely unlucky. Still, Hurley's bad luck tends to rub off on those that surround him rather than Hurley himself, meaning that he could beat the Predators by pure happenstance. He's also unlikely to be viewed as a major threat, putting him towards the back of the hunting list -- but as he's proven before, Hurley is pretty spry and shouldn't be discounted on looks alone.
Survival Odds: 1000:1. Aw, Hurley... I want you to eek this out, but I don't think that even the unlucky lotto numbers will protect you from a triangular laser blast.
John Locke:
Nobody gets to tell John Locke what he can and can't do, least of all a Predator. The man of a thousand knives has an instinctual knowledge of the Island's layouts that's second to none, giving him the home field advantage. And even if he finds himself on the business end of a two-pronged claw, Locke has a tested gift for beating death and injury.
Survival Odds: 5:1. Moreso than Jack, Locke has what it takes to evoke some of the primal rage required to take down a Predator. After all, he is a hunter -- not a farmer.
The Smoke Monster:
A massive puff of smoke identified as the Island's security system -- a creature that appears to be physically intangible but can nonetheless eviscerate a pack of highly-trained mercenaries in one fell swoop -- versus an alien with laser discs, stealth camouflage and other technological goodies. It's a tough one, but I'd go with Smokey. Don't feel too bad: Predators appreciate a good sport, and if nothing else, the resident monster presents the greatest challenge out of all the Island's inhabitants.
Survival Odds: 2:1. Yes, it's a tough call, but I really think Smokey McSmokesalot has this on lockdown. It might take some time to pull off, but unless the Predators can escape the island, they're a green puddle of goo.
