Hey All,
I know many of you were hoping for the recap podcast, but along the way I recorded a segment with our good friend DarkUFO for the bonus podcast and we started chatting spoilers.

So to avoid any of you that do not want to be spoiled from being spoiled I decided to make this segment a podcast by itself and post it in the spoilers section of the site.

Don't worry though the recap podcast will be out in 1-2 days and the bonus podcast with Erika and the rest of DarkUFO's thoughts will be out early next week.

With the one week break most of you know we decided to record a special bonus podcast with our good friend and LOST blogger DarkUFO.

It went so well that we had to break up the podcast into two parts. Part 2 actually was the spoilers segment and we decided to release it first a few day ago.

Now during the spoiler-free portion of the podcast we chatted with Dark quite a bit. The podcast has three main segments, with the first part having us talk about the sites in general, what it takes to run the site, the time, the effort and so on. He did answer some fan questions in this segment.

The second segment is the Season 5 first half recap and we provide you with our thoughts and theories about the first 8 episodes of the season. The third and final segment is where Dark answers some more of your questions.

It is a much longer podcast than usual, but Dark hardly gets time to do these things so we wanted to make sure we got to hear his thoughts and ask many of your questions.

How are you all doing!? October has started, another month has passed and well we are only about 4 months away the Season 5 premiere!!

Ok ok I know 4 months is STILL a long time to go, but we are still posting away and trying to do our best help you all get through the hiatus.

Of course the spoiler lovers know that the LOST cast and crew are currently working on Episode 5x04 and will most likely begin production on Episode 5x05 as early as this week. If you like spoilers, make sure you click on the Spoilers Tab.

Yes I know many of you out there are NOT spoiler fans, so we still continue to post any and all LOST related news such as details about the Season 4 DVD to the Dharma Wants You ARG.

Plus, we have continued to record and post new podcasts for you all. In the first part of this most recent podcast, as promised I introduce Karen from MySpace as my new Co-Host and we actually give you our opinions of the Emmy Awards as we watched it live.

We also discuss various theories and talk about the latest happenings with the Dharma Wants You ARG.

In Part 2 of the podcast Karen and I have a special guest, our good friend DarkUFO (Andy) join us and that part will be posted soon!! We discuss the ARG, some stuff about Andy the person and then some spoilers.

How is it going!?

Well today we have a special treat for you. As most of you know DarkUFO (Andy) is a very busy guy and hardly does interviews because he is usually just too busy.

Well earlier this week an interview with Lostpedia was posted, but today you get to listen to Dark for the first time in an audio interview!! Yup, that is right Dark has finally come out of the basement and we all finally get to listen to his great Brit accent!!

Dark did an interview with our good friend Mister Payne who has a podcast that covers many things including LOST.

It is good interview so sit back, relax and listen.

NOTE: There are some spoilers towards the end of the clip but there is ample warning before they start.

That's right it is that time!! If you do not know yet or have not signed-up yet, the sign-ups for the LOST Fantasy League (LFL) for Season 5 is now open!! After the success of the Season 4 league, our good friends DarkUFO and G-Man will be running the LFL again this season and it will be bigger and better!!

What is the LFL!? Well if you watch sports, then you know what a fantasy leagues is, if not, well basically it is a competition where you pick particular characters from specific categories and based on what happens throughout the season you will gain or lose points.

So if you picked Jack and he is scene in a FF/FB, kisses someone, visits a Dharma hatch, kills someone OR dies he would gain or lose points accordingly. There are several different point categories and character categories to choose from. Every week your team will get points and the teams with the highest point totals will win!!

What do you get if you win!? The Season 5 DVD Set!!

So check out the charts below for the various character groups and point categories. This season you have to pick a team of 8 characters ONE FROM EACH GROUP to form your team.

Also if you played last year then you know how fun this can be. However, there is one other MAJOR change that will make this season even better. This year Dark has decided to add "Mini-Leagues" so you can compare your points to your friends playing. So if you want compare your points to other readers/friends of The ODI, then when you pick your team make sure you select "The ODI". I will also be giving out prizes for the Top 3 teams in The ODI LFL!! So you will get two chances at a prize if you select The ODI league.

NOTE: Sign-Ups will remain open until MAJOR spoilers begin to hit the net. Last season the sign-ups ended abruptly because of spoilers, so do not wait and miss out this year.

1) Please complete the submission form using the link below.
2) Please only submit entry 1 per person.
3) We have a new field to enter this year which allows you to select the site that you would like your results to appear in. EG If you are a Lostpedia user and want to keep track of your place with other Lostpedia users make sure you select Lostpedia from the Select Site option. NOTE: Everyone is still included in the full table but this allows other sites to easily track their own tables etc. Owners of these sites should be providing details of the league in the appropriate forums/blogs/sites.
4) You must use a valid email address.
5) This email address will NOT be displayed or sold to any third party marketing companies and will ONLY be used to contact you if you are a prize winner and to send you a confirmation of your picks.
6) Only fill out the Celebrity Code field if you have already been contacted by DarkUFO.
7) Make sure you enter your team Name so that it is unique to you. The team name is the name you will use to find your team in the full table- eg Don't call your team LOST or Sawyer or Jack etc Make it unique like Andy's Greatest Fantasy Team :) (but please, nothing obscene or tasteless)
8) After you have submitted your team you should receive an email confirming your picks. Please check your Spam/Junk Folder if you don't receive one within an hour.
9) If you are a member of one of the sites listed, make sure that other site members know about the Fantasy League so that you can compete against your friends.
10) If you are the owner of one of the sites listed and have not received your CELEB code please email me.

Please remember to write down your selections! Season 5 is a long way off and it's easy to forget who's on your team. Then all you need to do is find a way to survive the 8-month Hiatus. There's plenty going on all across the Lost-o-sphere, including here at DarkUFO.

Once Season 5 starts, all you have to do is enjoy Lost. We do all the work of keeping score and tabulating the results for you. Be sure to check back after each episode to see how your team did. G-Man will post Fantasy Updates that will include detailed character points, important points rulings and our Top Celebs and Overall leader boards. At the end of Season 5, the winners will be announced and they will take home some fabulous prizes!

Well most likely we will get some of the same in Season 5, but if you think you know what might happen or just want to predict what will happen. Well my good friend DarkUFO is hosting a Prediction League or competition for Season 5. All you have to do is fill out a pre-made form and pick what you think will happen in Season 5 and the Top 3 scores at the end of Season 5 will win prizes that include a Season 5 DVD set!!

Yes, I know Season 5 doesn't start for another 8 months, but we need to do this now so no one gets an advantage with spoilers.

NOTE: This is NOT the LOST Fantasy League where you pick characters, this is picking specific scenes and moments that could occur.

Hey All,
As many of you know by now, my love for LOST has led to this site and without all of you and some of my key friends online, the tremendous growth would not be there. One of those very good friends is DarkUFO.

Dark has been a great friend and has been a strong supporter of The ODI since the start of the site at the beginning of this year. Of course most of you know me from my MySpace blog or from the MySpace and Lost-Forum forums, but this site has opened several new doors to growth and we are getting 1000s of views daily now on the front page and in the spoilers section. I really appreciate everyone that helped the site reach this point.

Now I know some of you fear the dreaded 8/9 month hiatus, but we were able to get through it last time and this time we are a little more prepared and have SEVERAL things planned for all of you...!! One of those "things" starts now....

Now on to the good news!! One thing I have always wanted to add to the site eventually was a forum, of course, a forum takes a tremendous amount of time and resources to run and moderate. Well, our good friend Dark has also wanted to add a forum to his site as well. Of course his site is much much bigger than mine and he has many more resources at his fingertips. So when he mentioned that he was in the process of starting DarkUFO/SpoilerTV forum, I was behind him 120%!!

Today, Dark is officially beginning Phase 1 of his new forum and it will be live and wide open to the public very soon (perhaps a week or two). Over the last month we have been beta-testing the forums and it looks great!!

However, in the meantime so that the start of the forum goes smoothly, Dark is allowing only 300 people in for Phase 1. I know many of you fear spoilers, but this is NOT just a spoilers forum, the forum has both a Spoiler-Free AND a Spoilers area and it will be for ALL shows, not just LOST. There is a movies area, a fan art section and an Off-Topic/BS area for those that just want to hang out and meet new people!! Plus much more!!
