Season 6 and Comic Con Latest Speculation

Hey All,
Last week E! Online had a chance to speak with both Michael Emerson and LOST writer Damon Lindelof about Season 6 and some plans for Comic Con.

Well once again nothing spoilery was revealed at all, but Emerson was asked about his thoughts about Ben's crush on Juliet considering she might have blown herself up. Emerson speculated that he thinks that Ben has no room for romance in his life at the moment. He also confirmed working with Elizabeth Mitchell is awesome.

Lindelof was solid as a rock not leaking anything about Season 6, but when asked if he could have Josh Holloway (Sawyer) appear at Comic Con, he did say it was a good idea and that he would love to have him be there.

So are you going to Comic Con this year?? If so, we will be there as well so please contact us and we can provide you with details on meeting up!! (Email: mrtheodi@gmail.com)

Don't forget to check out @ComicConLive on Twitter for live updates from ComicCon via Twitter. There will be a Live Comic Con page here and on DarkUFO as well.

So Josh fan are you excited at the possibility of him appearing at CC this year!?!?

You can read the full details here: E! Online

Michael Emerson Speculates on Season 6

Michael Emerson, who plays Ben Linus, confirmed that at least he is still an active part of the show. "My understanding is that I am," Emerson said in an exclusive interview last week at the Saturn Awards in Burbank, Calif. "For how much of season six, that's a good question."

Yes, more cryptic answers from the actor who plays the most cryptic character on the show. He even kiboshed my theory about erasing the present timeline. If the bomb prevented the crash of Oceanic Flight 815, seeing everybody live happily ever after wouldn't earn high ratings for the finale.

"I could see why you might think that, but from my perspective as playing that character who arrived late on that show, it doesn't sound terribly dramatic unless there's something in that equation that I don't quite get," Emerson said. "I'm just curious about what dramatic paths we'll follow."

One dramatic path might be further explorations of the mysterious Jacob. The fifth season finale revealed Jacob as a corporal presence, but still not quite human. Ben stabbed him, intending to kill Jacob. "I'm still not sure that he's a person like you and [me]," Emerson said. "I'm still not sure he's a person like Ben. Is he killable? I don't know. We haven't been to his funeral yet so I don't know. I don't know where all that's going."

Season six might finally give us a Ben flashback. We've seen Ben in flash-forwards, sending Sayid on assassination missions and trying to shoot Desmond. We've met Young Ben in the past, but we have yet to see Ben flash back to reflect on his own adult life.

"What constitutes a proper Ben flashback?" Emerson said. "There are some gaps in Ben's bio, and I think we may look backward a couple of times this season. I'm just guessing."

Don't expect any big changes for Ben, though. While audiences have seen him go from Henry Gale to the evil leader of the Others to a sympathetic young boy, Emerson has always acted as Ben and will continue to do so. "Ben has always seemed straightforward to me, and I don't think Ben has changed much over time," he said. "I think audience perceptions of Ben has changed."

LOST Hatch Reference in Wolverine Video Game

Hey All,
Here is another one of those cool LOST Easter Eggs that appear in a video game. This one appears in the new X-Men Origins: Wolverine game. This time the LOST numbers are not on the door and this is more of a rectangular shaped hatch door, but it is good enough for me.

Thanks to BlackBox for the heads up and SL-Lost for the clips

NOTE: The second video shows you how to find the hatch and the achievement you receive is called "Found".

CONFIRMED: Season 6 - Two Hour Premiere and Finale

Hey All,
About over a week ago, my good friend DarkUFO made a post about Season 6 possibly being "18 hours" based on a couple of interviews from Matthew Fox and Director Jack Bender. We also made a note of the interviews and Dark was able to confirm via his ABC sources that it was true after all.

The speculation was that there would be a Two hour premiere and finale totaling the 18 hours of the planned 17 hour season.

Well for those that did not or would not believe it, EW's Ausiello posted a Tweet confirming the same thing!!

So rejoice LOST fans, there will indeed be an extra hour of LOST in Season 6!!

Mr Eko Meets Monk

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje disappointed Lost fans and angered producers when he asked to be released from his role as Mr. Eko after his parents passed away in 2006. “It was a very traumatic year,” he says. The Brit would now welcome a return to Hawaii and a fat paycheck from ABC. “To be able to give that rich character some completion would be nice,” says Adewale, who stays in touch with fellow Lost corpses Harold Perrineau (Michael) and Dominic Monaghan (Charlie).

Back at work, Adewale has roles in the big-screen “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” and Monk, both bowing August 7. On the final season of the USA mystery, he’ll prove to be the catalyst to Monk unlocking his wife’s murder.

“My character comes from Nigeria to America to find out what happened to his wife, who was killed in a hit-and-run,” Adewale says. “In the process I come across Monk, who lost his wife in a similar manner. It’s a sweet, sad story that reignites Monk’s fervor to solve her murder.”

Getting Lost

Thanks to B3rt4 for the heads up.

The Season 5 finale's unnamed "Man No. 2" is the No. 1 topic in the new Getting Lost video. Who (or what) is this being that would eventually find a "loophole," pose as a resurrected Locke and order Ben to slay Jacob?

In this video, I share Getting Lost viewers' top theories, which are plumbed from such places as the Bible, Egyptian lore, and the creepy chamber situated beneath the island's Temple.

Next, the "man in black" himself — Deadwood alum Titus Welliver — reveals what he knows about his alter ego's actual name. The actor then shares his interesting take on the island's ultimate pecking order as it relates to Jacob and... well, whomever.

We then wrap things up with a new Burning Question.

Emilie De Ravin on the Set of Remember Me

Hey All,
Many of you have been wondering where the mysterious Claire has been on the LOST Island during all of the time jumping in Season 4.

If she was indeed alive the last time we saw here with daddy (aka Ghost Christian or smokey) then she should have been time jumping with the rest of the Losties right!?

Well this is one of the questions that the writers have promised to answer in Season 6, but in the meantime Emilie De Ravin who portrays Claire has been super busy making movies.

She will next be seen in the upcoming Johnny Depp movie Public Enemies, but is currently filming some romantic beach scenes with one of the "hottest" actors in Hollwywood, Robert Pattinson. Who is Robert Pattinson, well he is the star of the super-popular Twilight movie series.

Lucky us we have posted some new set pictures of De Ravin and Pattinson in the Movies Section of the site getting a little comfy on the beach.

So I am posting a few of them here along with a link to view more.

Video from Top Chef Masters with LOST Writers

**UPDATED** Official video from Bravo added below.

Hey All,
Last night LOST Writers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse along with several other members of the writing staff appeared on Top Chef Masters.

Top Chef Masters is reality show competition where 4 established chefs (masters) go head to head and the winner gets money for their charity.

The main elimination challenge was a LOST Themed challenge where the chefs could only use ingredients found on the island such as: boar, fish, sea urchins, all types of fruits, and then can goods from a secret Dharma Initiative List.

If you missed the episode, here is a small clip of the LOST writing crew tasting all four dishes and providing the other judges (food critics) their feedback.

Enjoy!!

Thanks to our good friend SycloneFX for the clip.

NOTE: The first clip is from the official Bravo website and actually occurs before the scene in the second video.

Countdown to ComicCon 09!!

Hey All.
It is that time of year again!! San Diego Comic Con 09 (SDCC09) is little over a month away!!

If you still do not know what SDCC is, then let me give you a quick update. SDCC is largest comic book convention, but it is more of a TV/Movie/SciFi Fans dream world. Networks and studios have booths and panels to promote their old and new shows and movies.

So of course LOST will be represented and this year is promised to be HUGE. This is the last year for LOST at Comic Con (yes that was hard to type), but Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse promise something "special" for the fans.

In previous years they have provided us with sneak peeks and special Dharma Initiative videos and last year they gave a special prize to each person that asked a question. Matthew Fox was with Darlton last year and there was the Dharma Initiative booth that launched the FAILED ORG ARG, but because of that booth myself and several other Losties were lucky enough to meet and chat with them up close and personal!!

This year my guess is they will be doing something similar with out the Dharma Booth. The panel is indeed scheduled for Saturday, but this year it will be at 11AM and it will be in the huge Hall H again that seats 6,500 (I hear they are expanding it). There will most likely be at least 1 panel at 10AM before LOST, but you will have to sit through that to get a good seat for the LOST Panel.

Last year it was also the second panel and several of you out there braved the early morning hours to hang out and have fun while waiting in line. If you are planning to visit SDCC again this year, I will be there again live blogging and tweeting not only the LOST events but anything and everything else!!

I would love to hang with you all again!! I would say one of the best parts of the weekend is actually getting to meet everyone so I am really looking forward to it all. Tickets are unfortunately sold out, but if you are one of the lucky few that have tickets, then do not forget it is from July 23rd to 26th, with a preview night on Wed the 22nd.

As I mentioned, I will be blogging live for both The ODI and DarkUFO during the LOST events and then for SpoilerTV for other shows and movies. Of course I can not do this all by myself, so if you want to help out with the taking pictures, video tapping, blogging or tweeting or just want to hang out please let us know!!

Please email me at: mrtheodi@gmail.com

More information to follow as we get closer to the event, but here are a few helpful links and a video from waiting in line last year!!

NOTE: Sites will be updated over the next month so keep checking for new updates.

'Lost' star Josh Holloway on Juliet, Jack, and Jughead

The master list of possible Emmy nominees was recently announced, and we at EW were thrilled to see that Josh Holloway, who has played Sawyer on Lost since its first season back in 2004, is among the mix of potential candidates for Best Supporting Actor. Season 5 was a great year for the 39-year-old star, whose wise-cracking, morally ambiguous con man character completed a series-long shift to full-fledged romantic hero as he led the castaways through time travel peril and fell in love with Jughead-banging Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell). His grief as he watched his Dharma lady slip out of his hands and fall to her doom was one of the TV season's most heartbreaking moments. While we hope Emmy remembers Holloway when it winnows its list of Best Supporting Actor players down to a final five, we decided to move ahead and give him an honor of our own by putting Holloway's in this year's Must Issue, EW's annual summertime compendium of essential artists, performers, and assorted coolness.

In my previous trips to the Lost set in Hawaii, I have always found Holloway to be extremely cordial, charming, and curious about the mysteries of his show. He's always demonstrated a deep concern that Sawyer remain emotionally credible and compelling without being melodramatic or over the top. And he takes Sawyer's quips very seriously: When I visited at the end of Season 2, I remember watching him pace through the jungle, rehearsing his lines over and over again to himself, wanting to make sure Sawyer's new Prince-esque nickname for Ben Linus ("The artist formerly known as Henry Gale") tripped easily off his tongue. I encountered a slightly different Holloway at our Must Issue photo shoot in the Hollywood Hills late last month. He was as cool and engaging as always, but greatly enhanced by the glee and marvel (and exhaustion) of new fatherhood. (His daughter, Java, was born last April.) The guy certainly has a certain impact on ladies: At one point during the photo shoot, I spotted a member of our crew discretely pick up one of Holloway's shirts and give it a good long sniff. Seriously.

I got a chance to chat with Holloway after the pics were snapped, which we present to you in the three parts. In Part 1, embedded below, the actor talks about Sawyer's romance with Juliet and their tragic parting. In Parts 2 and 3, Holloway talks about his bloody confrontation with Matthew Fox's Jack Shephard in the season finale and also discusses some theories with yours truly about where the castaways will finds themselves at the start of Lost's sixth and final season.

Summary of Speculation of Potential Losties Returning

Hey All,
First of all, I personally do not consider any of the information below as spoilers, but it is all based on speculation and rumors, so if you do not want to know anything then do not continue reading.

Now, if you have been keeping up to speed with the LOST news or Rumors over the last week or two, then you perhaps have seem the ABC Promo which featured former LOST Cast Member Dominic Monaghan. Immediately all of the earlier fan theories that Charlie and perhaps other Losties will be returning seemed like they might be coming true.

Rumors, speculation, and more about Charlie returning for Season 6 instantly spread through the net like a wildfire with hurricane force winds. However, as quick as the word spread across the globe, word came from ABC that Dom appearing in the promo did not mean he was returning to LOST.

Of course with ABC having two new high-profile SciFi shows ready for the new season with other LOST cast members (V with Elizabeth Mitchell and FlashForward with Sonya Walger), the attention turned towards Dom appearing in a guest role in one of these two shows. It was then apparently confirmed that Dom was indeed set to appear on FlashForward. Why I say "apparently", more on that later.

BTW, we are STILL receiving emails and scoop submissions about that promo... :)

After a week or so and the news of the promo slowly dwindling, our good friend DarkUFO received a tip from someone with a Twitter Acct that claimed he worked for Endeavor Talent Agency that BOTH Dominic Monaghan and Maggie Grace (Shannon) were in talks to return for Season 6!?

I personally did not believe it for a moment and Dark posted the information in his Rumors section and contacted his contacts. However, like the ABC Promo, this Tweet fueled whatever lingering speculation into a full on media blitz across the internet about the potential returns of both Dom and Maggie. EW, E! Online, TV Guide, Zap2It, and several other sites began making posts and trying to check with their sources.

This news blew up so big that several of the pop blogs, movie blogs, and even gossip blog Perez Hilton had made posts!!

However, little did all of these sites know that while they were making posts, Dark was working hard to figure out how valid the information was from the Twitter account. I would say almost hours after posting in the rumors section, the employee from the Talent Agency came back and said their source was wrong and made a mistake.

Of course this did not convince many people, so sites and fans continue to wonder and figure out whether either Dom or Maggie are returning!?

Well where does that leave us!? Both actors reps were contacted and neither would confirm or deny anything. Dom's reps actually confirmed that he would love to return, but that there were no concrete plans. At the time Maggie's reps said that they had no idea about all this speculation and claimed it was all news to them.

So basically things began to settle down for about a week until today. What changed today!?

First the producers of FlashForward spoke with LA Times about Flash Forward and they were asked about Monaghan being cast on FF and well here is their response:

"Obviously, we're not going to tell you that....So much of the speculation is so . . . wrong; it's awesome."

So what speculation is wrong and about what!? What do you all think that means!?

Additionally earlier this week, E! Online reported some more speculation reporting:

"Very reliable sources now tell us that there is "mutual interest" (between the Lost PTB and Dominic Monaghan)"

Next, today came word from E! Online again today that Maggie Grace told them that she is "looking forward to visiting Hawaii soon." Of course this could mean anything and Grace stopped short of confirming whether she was going to Hawaii for work or for pleasure, but that she is definitely open to returning if the writers wanted her back.

So there you go!! Both are open to a return, but no one is confirming or really denying that they have even talked about returning.

Yes, I know after reading this post you basically have no new additional information about whether we will see Charlie or Shannon again in Season 6, but it makes for good hype and buzz.

Of course a major thanks to all of you for the heads up about all of these posts and filling our inboxes with LOST love!!

Michael Emerson Feels Ben Will Survive Until the End

Hey All,
Michael Emerson recently spoke with E! Online at the True Blood premiere. Emerson spoke about Season 6 and speculated that he feels Ben is tricky enough that he will survive until the series end.

No spoilers were revealed, but if you consider his speculation or thoughts on Season 6 as a potential spoilers, then beware.

Here you go:

Speaking of that end, when asked about how Ben might fare in a final Island-destroying scenario, with maybe a volcano exploding and everyone clambering about a rescue vessel, Emerson said, "Ben is a great man for the secret exit. Ben always has an escape, I think. It may be a piece of wood, floating on the ocean. Or it may be a rope, or a secret door. Or, you know, an Ecuadorian passport and a plastic bag, something like that. He's probably going to survive."

As for his prospects during these last 17 episodes, Emerson says, "I don't know what Ben's ultimate station will be," or if Ben may could ever again be grand Island pooh-bah, but Emerson that Ben is not yet out—even though he may be very, very down: "Ben's become such a cringing little follower, hasn't he? 'Who is that guy who looks like John Locke?' [That guy]'s sort of taking things over, and what can Ben do except sort of mope along and follow orders? Although [Ben] did have a moment of angry violence there in the finale. I was sort of proud of him for that. I mean, he's looked all these years for a proper father, hasn't he? And this guy [Jacob] says, 'What about you?' I would have stabbed him, too."

Site Design and Changes Coming Soon - Please Help

Hey All,
With the TV off-season in full swing and the number of readers continuing to grow we have decided to take the little time available during the off season to update and change the site a bit.

We are currently in the process of creating a new more sleek design with better menus, features, and colors that should help improve the organization and look of the site.

Of course the site would not exist if you all out there were not reading it, so we want to get some feedback from all of you out there! The LOST and Heroes pages are the most popular parts of the site, but the new TV Spoilers page is growing steadily and covers several other popular shows. We will be improving the Chat Page and will also be adding a "Fun Zone" for fan fiction/art, polls, contests and more!!

Below is a poll asking what browser you use to view the site. With so many different options available we want to do our best that the new design will be ideal for our readers and the browsers they are using.

Also, here is a list of few questions asking about the site, your answers and feedback will be vital in helping to improve the site. Please do not waste our time with BS answers like your "Site Sucks!!". This is a free site and any little ad revenue we get is put right back into the site for hosting accounts. If you do not like the site and are not willing to be respectful and help then please do not visit.

If you would like to help out then please provide some feedback below, here are the questions:

1) What is the one thing about The ODI that keeps you coming back for more?
2) If you could change one thing about TheODI, what would it be?
3) What would you like to see more of from TheODI?
4) What would you like to see less of from TheODI?
5) Any other comments/suggestions.

LOST Season 6 Possibly 18 Hours!?

Hey All,
Over the last couple of weeks, we have posted several different interviews by several of the LOST cast and crew including Matthew Fox and Director Jack Bender.

Both of them at some point have mentioned that there are "18 hours left" in the show. Of course most of us knew that there were 17 Episodes left and I assumed that meant the finale was two hours making it 18 hours and not 17.

Well our good friend DarkUFO is reporting that based on a new Matthew Fox interview that there is a possibility that Season 6 will be 16 Episodes with a Two-Hour Premiere and Finale!!

So it seems either way we might be getting an extra hour of LOST in Season 6!!

As soon as we have more information we will keep you all informed.
